Your Academy account is created for you when you join. Patreon members are picked up by a sync that runs every 10 minutes, and annual or course purchases create the account at checkout. You never get an invite link, so the first step is always to set a password.
Set your password
- Go to cert.grcengclub.com/forgot-password.
- Enter the exact email you used on Patreon or at checkout.
- Check your inbox (and spam or promotions) for a 6-digit code.
- Enter the code and a new password. Passwords need at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number.
- Sign in at cert.grcengclub.com/login.
Codes expire quickly. If yours stops working, request a new one rather than retrying the old one.
The code never arrives
Most of the time the email you typed is not the one on your account. Common causes:
- Gmail vs Googlemail.
you@gmail.comandyou@googlemail.comare different accounts to us. Try the other one. - Apple "Hide My Email". If you joined Patreon with Sign in with Apple, your Patreon email may be a relay address like
abc123@privaterelay.appleid.com. Check your Patreon settings for the real address on file, or email us and we will link your account to the email you actually use. - Work vs personal email. Team seats use the email your company sent us. Try your work address.
- You joined in the last few minutes. Wait 10 minutes for the Patreon sync, then try again.
